The Harold D. Lasswell Award is awarded annually by
the American Political Science Association for the best dissertation in
the field of public policy. It is co-sponsored by the Policy Studies
Association and the Public Policy Section. Dissertations must have been
completed in the previous calendar year. This award carries a prize of
1,000.
Departments are requested to submit a letter of nomination and a copy of the dissertation to each award committee member, and a letter of nomination only to the APSA office by January 15, 2013. Copies of the dissertation are not to be submitted to the APSA office.
